First of all, thank you for visiting my portfolio. I hope you like what you have seen so far. Since you clicked on this page, here is a little bit about me.
As a youngster, I loved taking snapshots on trips and at family gatherings. After college, I began working in radio and TV news, and purchased my first 35mm SLR. I took photos of coworkers and of places I traveled for news coverage. In the early 1990’s I took a job with the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in the media center, and taught classes in video, photography, and media relations. After a brief stint working for the video production company of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, I returned to working for the State of Indiana, this time in public relations at the Department of Transportation. I am now retired and I will stay active offering my photographic skills for no charge to groups that I support as well as friends.
In addition to theater, concerts, and events, I want to provide environmental/fashion portraits and headshot photography, with a focus on . . . actors, singers, dancers, musicians, artists, athletes . . . essentially, performers and creatives of all kinds! I love creating photos that give people confidence, in their appearance, performance, and abilities.
